Deep House Yoga Project - Monday's with a Twist

Deep House Yoga Project is setting up shop every Monday night for a summer sessions series at SLYFOX in Enmore.

A delicious combination of deep breaths, deep bends and deep beats - Yogi Saoirse Connolly and DJ Jen Stallard - co-create the space for your souls to shine through a sensory journey of juicy Vinyasa flow.

All to a live, spine-tingling DJ set of melodic deep house beats - connecting you to breath and movement while getting lost in the magic of the music.

Yoga is a 360 degree practice that brings us on a physical quest with empowering mental benefits and a spiritual remembrance of how truly magical we are.

Merged with the sounds of today's underground music we aim to add a bit of oomph to your OM by deepening our connection to our yogic practice, ourselves and each other in a way only great music can.

We promise to calm your mind, energise your body, fill your heart with love and massage your soul while dancing to the beat of your own unique flow.

Join us for an adventure of elevation & transformation, where the ultimate destination is BLISS.

You don't want to miss this.

Deep beats, love and peace :)

ZigMon • Bassic Records

Bassic Records director & co-founder ZigMon breaks the boundaries of progressive, techno, house and minimal, generating encapsulating dancefloor dynamics with deepened drive, elated euphoria and a touch of psychedelia. Finding a balance between alluring melodies, driving basslines and grounding groove, ZigMon sees his purpose to deliver something unexpected and unique, compelling an unpredictable journey without the confines of style or genre.

ZigMon has followed and warmedup floors for Boris Brejcha, Victor Ruiz, Enrico Sangiuliano and Alex Stein at festival main stages, revered clubs and warehouse venues throughout Australia. Additionally he has directly supported a long list of world class acts, varied even moreso than his own diverse style: Jay Lumen, Lane 8, D-nox, Loco & Jam, Minilogue, Justin Jay, Be Svendsen, Louie Cut, Kolombo, Dale Howard, DJ W!LD, Niko Schwind, Sascha Dive, Astrix, Phaxe, Perfect Stranger, Grouch, Opiuo and Koan Sound.

Breaking into the international scene in 2017, ZigMon featured on the main stage ofThailand’s Halfmoon Festival, as well as a 5 stop tour through some of Portugal’s best clubs and a successful Bassic Records Showcase in Denmark’s illusive capital, Copenhagen. A vagabond of the Australian festival circuit, he has featured at Earth Frequency, Strawberry Fields, Dragon Dreaming, Psyfari, Babylon, Elements, Bizarre Garden, Bohemian Beatfreaks and is a resident of Rabbits Eat Lettuce (hosting an annual Bassic Records Showcase on the main stage) and Subsonic Music Festival (curating the psychedelically inclined El Stompo Stage).

Constantly on the move and proving tobe one of Australia's most widely active DJs, ZigMon performs regularly with Australia’s best clubs/nights (as elected by djmag): SASH (Sydney), elsewhere (Gold Coast), Capulet (Brisbane); with his calendar often full with features at the likes of Revolver, Breakfast Club, Dragonfruit, WeLove, Cause and Essential Intentions; additionally leaving a mark on a wide range of respected venues in Melbourne (My Aeon, Tramp, 161, Circus, Railway Hotel, New Guernica), Sydney (Max Watt’s, HOME, Burdekin, Slyfox, Zoo Project), Byron Bay (The Brewery, The Northern, Sticky Wicket) and headline features from Canberra, to Coffs Harbour and Cairns.

Foxlife / Brawther

Just because it’s the end of the month, doesn’t mean we are slowing things down in the house music department. The SLYFOX has seen some stellar names in April, and we thought it would be wise (and fun) to finish with another Frenchman. Brawther heads off the 28th April, with Fox resident Rabbit Taxi making the trip up to visit us, alongside Charles muziek and Fin McAvoy.

???? Brawther

Born in Paris, now living in Leeds and raised on house – that’s just about all Brawther wants to tell you. You’ll have to glean anything else you need to know from his music. So far his productions have only been selectively released on esteemed labels like Cabinet, Balance, secretsundaze and My Love Is Underground. It varies from pad-laced daydreams to tough edged 4/4 beats, always displaying such true school ideals. Brawther is also the man behind record label and production partnership Dungeon Meat, a like-minded collaboration with Tristan da Cunha. Very much prising quality over quantity, Brawther knows just when to release his records into the wider world. When he does, it seems the world takes note.
